Welcome to your Korean Language Study Material. This planner was designed with one clear purpose: to give self-study Korean learners a structured, beautiful space to organize their study sessions, build their Hangul writing skills, and track every word they learn — no classroom required.
Start with the Study Goals pages at the very front of the book. Before you write a single character, take a few quiet minutes to set your intentions. Write down what you hope to achieve — whether that is mastering the complete Hangul alphabet, learning 300 new vocabulary words, or simply building a consistent daily study habit. Goals that are written down are goals that get reached. Return to these pages often to reflect on how far you have come.
Each week, open a Weekly Study Planner page before your first session of the week. Write your focus topic for each day, the time you plan to study, and any session goals you want to hit. Planning your week before it starts is one of the most powerful habits a self-study learner can develop. It transforms vague intentions into concrete action.
For your daily practice, use the Hangul Writing Practice pages. The six manuscript rows at the top follow the standard two-line format used in Korean writing instruction — each row has a light guide line and a base line to help you place your characters accurately and consistently. Take your time with each stroke. In the vocabulary box below the manuscript rows, focus on one new word for that session. Write it in Korean, note its pronunciation, record its meaning, and write an example sentence. This focused, single-word approach builds lasting retention faster than memorizing long lists.
At the end of each month, transfer the words from your daily practice into a Monthly Vocabulary Tracker page. Copy the word, its meaning, and an example sentence into the table. As each word becomes truly familiar to you, check the Done box. Watching that column fill up is one of the most satisfying experiences in language learning — and a powerful reminder of everything you have accomplished.
Use the Milestone Celebration pages whenever you hit a meaningful breakthrough. Finishing all the basic consonants, completing your first week of daily practice, holding a short Korean conversation for the first time — these moments deserve recognition. Write down what you achieved, how it felt, and what reward you are giving yourself. Progress celebrated is progress that compounds.
The lined notes pages at the back of the book are entirely yours. Use them for grammar notes, favorite phrases, lesson summaries, or journaling in Korean. There are no rules — write in Korean, English, or both.
You do not need a classroom or a tutor to learn Korean. You need consistent daily practice, a clear system, and a space to grow into. This book is that space. Open it every day, even for five minutes, and trust what consistent effort can build over time.
